Silky Smooth Legs

I always get comments on how smooth my skin is but most importantly my legs, so I thought I'd share what I do to get great silky smooth results!

Whenever I get ready to go out where my legs will be on show I always have a nice hot bubble bath, and while I have a hair mask on I take the time to sort out my legs.
Its important to make sure wether your in the shower or bath that the water is warm enough to open your pores so you get a closer shave.

I then use an exfoliating cream or loofah, to get rid of all the dead skin cells. It will help clear your skin and bring the hairs out of the pores more so you can get a closer shave. I like to use Sanctuary Salt Scrub because it is super moiturising as it is a blend of dead sea salts wrapped in moisturising coconut, jojoba and sweet almond oils to resurface the texture of your skin and leaves it super smooth.

Then I like to use a conditioner instead of a shaving foam or shower gel just because it locks in more moisturising goodness and keeps my legs smooth and helps the razor glide a lot better and will stop you from getting and nicks or cuts on your legs. I like to use the most moisturising conditioner and at the moment I am using Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturising Conditioner.

When shaving make sure you use a good razor girls, I have been through so many cheap ones, disposable ones and I have the scars to prove it! I always come back to Gillette Venus Razors. I don't know any other brand as good as them, especially the 5 blade razors as they make it easier over the tricky places like your knees and ankles. You have to shave against the hair growth in long strokes & rinse the razor under the tap after each stroke. My favourite razor at the moment is the Gillette Venus & Olay Razor because it has two big juicy moisturising strips on it that help it glide as smooth as possible.

Make sure you rinse off your legs with cool water to close the pores and pat your legs dry, taking care not to rub them vigorously. While there is still moisture in your skin, moisturise straight away! It will lock in more natural moisture. Use a thick moisturisers like a body butter if you have dry skin and make sure to concentrate on your ankles and knees to keep them supple. An all time favourite lotion I love to use which I always get comments of how soft my skin is and how nice it smells is Vaseline's Coco Radiant Butter.
